Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation for any reason, whether avoidable or unavoidable, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date we receive written notice, and are as follows:
30 days before arrival: 30% of the tour cost retained
15 days before arrival: 50% of the tour cost retained
7 days before arrival: 70% of the tour cost retained
Less than 7 days or No Show: 100% of the tour cost retained
Special train journeys and hotel bookings during peak season may have a separate cancellation policy, which will be communicated when necessary.
Refund Guidelines
If you cancel the trip after the start, refunds will be limited and subject to the amount recoverable from the hoteliers/contractors we engage. Unused hotel accommodations, chartered transportation, or missed meals will not be eligible for refunds. Refunds for unused or cancelled services will be processed as per the cancellation policy stated above and the refund will be credited to the original payer. Please note that the refund process may take 2-4 weeks due to banking procedures. Any bank charges for refunds to credit cards or bank accounts will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Spend Money
Every traveler has unique spending habits. Consider your preferences for drinks, shopping, optional activities, and tipping when planning your trip. Also, prepare an emergency fund of $200 USD for unforeseen events or circumstances beyond your control that may require a change in your planned itinerary.

Responsibilities and Limitations
After the cost of the tour/service is finalized, any increase in entry fees, taxes, fuel costs or guide charges by the Government of India will be levied additionally (if applicable). Tripstro acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, railways and service contractors. All documents issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions set by these service providers. The itineraries are sample schedules; changes may occur due to weather, road conditions or the abilities of the participants. We reserve the right to modify schedules for the safety, comfort and well-being of the tour participants. We are not responsible for delays, expenses, losses, injuries, damages or any problems related to accommodation, transportation or services due to circumstances beyond our control. Visitors are advised to take out insurance against accidents, illness, theft or any other contingency in their home country. All luggage and personal effects are at the customer’s own risk.
Please note: Credit card payments are accepted only if the cardholder or one of the cardholders in the group is touring India.
